About the Pineal Gland
The pineal gland represents the Seventh (7th) chakra of energy in the body, the "crown" chakra.  It is a small gland, shaped like a pinecone and is the size of a grain of rice. It produces melatonin from tryptophan.  Melatonin is a powerful hormone, more powerful than Vitamin D and it helps to regulate the body's circadian rhythm. It also plays a role in the timing of puberty as well as the biological aging process.  It is important for converting signals from the parasympathetic to the endocrine system. It is called the "third eye" because it is situation between both eyes and has rods and cones, just like the eyes do.  Light enters the body through the retina of the eyes then gets sent to the brain, which then sends it to the pineal gland and activates the gland.

Many ancient cultures including the Egyptians connected spiritual awareness to the pineal gland and ancient hieroglyphics depict the pineal gland as the "third eye".  It is known in other religions as the "seat of the soul" and is connected with spirituality, intuition, discernment, psychic awareness and expanded mind capacity.


Pineal Gland and Toxicity
The blood supply of the pineal gland is two-thirds (2/3) more than any other gland. This means that the pineal gland can accumulate heavy metals, environmental toxins like pesticides and especially fluoride. These will cause the pineal gland to calcify and loose its optimum function. Calcification is a hardening of this gland.  Many things can contribute to this calcification in addition to fluoride and contamination form heavy metals in particular from vaccinations are artificial foods, poor nutrition, decreased immunity and exposure to radiation, EMR (Electro Magnetic Radiation) including cell phones and microwave ovens.

A blocked pineal gland is associated with several disorders as well as inhibited enzyme function. Deficiency in melatonin is linked with premature sexual development, insomnia, cancer, Alzheimer’s and mental disorders like bipolar as well as autism. Other health issues are also associated including autoimmune diseases, hypothyroidism, diabetes, vision problems, digestive disorders and kidney problems.

A healthy pineal gland is will enhance the functions of all other glands.  It will increase the production of melatonin, improve your sleep cycle, improve focus and cognition, improve hormonal function and can even reverse the biological aging process! Foods To Detoxify the Pineal Gland
To detoxify the pineal gland, in addition to homeopathic care, these other things are also important:

  • Eat Organic, Pesticide Free Food
    Eat organic fruits, veggies and animal products as much as possible.  This will help to stop pesticides and chemicals that go into the bloodstream and throughout the body.  Pesticides, artificial ingredients, hormones, other contaminants enter from bad food into the blood stream and flow directly to the pineal gland. Pesticides will INCREASE immune responses like inflammation and calcification.  Organic foods will help REDUCE it.  The accumulation of calcium deposits is the body’s immune response to toxins and a way to protects the pineal glad against these harmful chemicals.

  • Drink Enough Pure Filtered - Unfluoridated - Water
    Drink half your weight as ounces per day of pure, clean water. Remove all fluoride! Many people drink fluoridated tap water and that means they have accumulated sodium fluoride (fluoride) in the pineal gland and the gland becomes calcified. Buy a water filter that removes all fluoride from your water filter.

  • Use Fluoride Free Toothpaste!
    Fluoride is a neurotoxin.  Use only fluoride free toothpaste.  Refuse all fluoride dental treatments especially for children.  Fluoride-free toothpaste are easily available on the internet or local drugs stores easily.

  • Get Out in the Sun
    Sunlight activates the pineal gland and stimulates decalcification. Getting 20 minutes of sunshine every day will not only increase your Vitamin D level, but it will activate the pineal gland. The sun light needs to be received through your skin and go straight to the brain. This will improve sleep as well.

  • Iodine Supplementation - learn much more here!
    Iodine has been clinically shown to assist the body in releasing your toxic body burden of fluoride, chlorine and bromide through the urine.  Adequate intake is essential for the healthy function of the thyroid gland.

  • Lemons and Citric Acid
    Put the juice of lemons in your water.  This helps alkalize the gut and also helps to break down calcium deposits in the body.

  • Boron/Borax
    Boron is found mineral in food and occurs naturally in raisins, dates, chick peas, red kidney beans, hazel nuts, walnuts, lentils and peanut butter. It can also be taken as a supplement in the form of borax but concentrated supplementation is controversial. It is a known fluoride remover and builds strong bones and muscles, promote good muscle coordination and healthy testosterone levels as well as improving cognition.

  • Other Foods for The Pineal Glad
    Coconut oil, chlorella, blue-green algae, wheatgrass, cilantro, parsley, turmeric and cayenne also support the pineal gland health and decalcification of the pineal gland.
