Homeopathic Remedies For Boils, Infected

Anthracinum
Anthracinum has been proven to kill the bacteria causing skin abscess
and resolve the infection. Used to treat all types of boils. Anthracinum is a
nosode from anthrax poison. Anthracinum can

burning, induration of cellular tissue, abscess, bubo, and all inflammation

Arnica Montana

Baptisia tinctoria
Cures chronic boils and skin abscess. Helps the white blood cells to
fight bacterial infections and increase the immune system making the
infections can’t spread to other areas. Baptisia tinctoria roots contain a
strong lymphocyte DNA synthesis-stimulating activity consisting of 4
distinct protein bands with molecular masses, such as aspartic acid,
glutamic acid, threonine and alanine. (Planta Med 1989; 55(4): 358-363).
These amino acids can increase the production of human lymphocyte DNA to
strengthen immune system and detect which cells has been affected by
infections and kill them.

Belladonna
When boil comes on suddenly with a fiery-red or inflamed appearance.
Swelling of the glands under the arms or in the groin. The person may be
overexcited and feverish. Great sensitivity to noise, jar, light, and touch.

Calcarea sulphurica
This remedy relieves juvenile acne that tends to form boils.

Calendula
This remedy is often helpful as a topical application for boils and infected
sores. It can be used in herbal form or in low dilution as a tincture,
ointment, or compress. Taken internally, Calendula can help the body
overcome infection.

Echinacea angustifolia
Helps the immune system overcome infection. This is an herb that in
homeopathic form, helps a person with recurring boils. People who need this
remedy typically feel sickly, lethargic, achy and chilly.

Hepar Sulph When the person with a boil is irritable or even violent. Oversensitive
mentally and physically to contact, to pressure of dressings, etc. Very
chilly and want to be wrapped up, better with warm. The boil is very
sensitive and sharply painful. Hepar Sulph helps speed up the process
if boil’s discharge is too slow and scanty, or the boil has not opened.

Hypericum
The liquid form of this remedy helps when applied undiluted to the unbroken
boil to help relieve pain. It is often used in conjunction with the remedies
mentioned here. If the boil has broken open, then the mother tincture should
be diluted 1:10 and applied to the open wound.
Calendula
Mother Tincture can also be used on broken
boils at a 1:25 dilution.

Lachesis
Very painful boils
that become bluish and form rapidly. The person is worse from heat and very
excitable. They are so sensitive to touch that they cannot tolerate any
covering on the boil. Boils may occur mainly on the left side of the body
and/or start on the left and progress to the right.

Mercurius solubilis
Boils are very sensitive with advanced development of pus. Moist or
greasy-looking skin. Swollen lymph nodes and offensive breath. The person is
very sensitive to changes in temperature. Warmth may aggravate the pain.

Silicea Boils may be hardened, and their discharges can be offensive.
Accompanied by swollen glands. Silica is useful after
Hepar Sulph
has acted well but not finished the healing. Used to promote opening
of the boil and discharging. People needing both of these remedies tend to
feel chilly. The boil is bit slower to develop and not as sharply painful.

Sulphur Useful in cases where there is a frequent return of
boils. Symptoms include burning, redness, flushes of heat, and boils that
come in groups. Giving
Arnica while the
boil is inflamed and swollen, then a dose of Sulphur occasionally after it
has healed, the predisposition to boils may be gradually removed.
- Tarentula cubensis
Indicated when a boil is sore and swollen with stinging, burning pain, and
purplish or bluish discoloration of surrounding tissues. A person who needs
this remedy may also have restless feet and difficulty sleeping.

6C
2 pills dry together at the same time with
Belladonna
30C 2 pills dry. Dose every
2 hours if the abscess is very acute and if there is pain. Continue until
the pain is resolved up to 48 hours.
